NBC’s popular singing reality competition, The Voice is halfway through season 12, and the fun is just getting started. After the exciting Blind Auditions, judges Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton are currently in the midst of stealing singers from each other during the Battle Rounds. So far, the second episode of the Battle Rounds has ended, and fans can’t wait to see who advances to the much-awaited Knockout Rounds. While the judges are scrambling to steal their favorite singers, the celebrity mentors are making sure that each contestant gets the best opportunity to showcase their talent in the Battle Rounds. Monday and Tuesday night’s (March 20 and 21) episodes of The Voice season 12 saw some amazing performances by singing sensations as young as 14 years old. One of them is upcoming YouTube star, Aaliyah Rose, who had previously blown away judge Gwen Stefani with her powerful pipes in the Blind Auditions. Here is Aaliyah Rose’s wiki, including information on her age, net worth, family, songs, and Instagram account.

Rose may be young, but she is definitely poised to win this season of The Voice. At just 14 years of age, Aaliyah Rose has a deep and soulful voice that is far beyond her years. After listening to her rendition of Andra Day’s “Rise Up,” celebrity judge Gwen Stefani pressed her buzzer and whirled around almost immediately, despite being the only one to do so.

Visibly moved by Rose’s singing, an emotional Stefani ran up to the teen to give her a hug, and welcome her to Team Gwen. Stefani happily exclaimed that she had found, “that young girl that I can connect to and share what I’ve done with,” after telling Rose, “You’re so talented and gifted. Just the fact that you have a voice like that and a power like that and you have so much style.” Aaliyah Rose’s family was present backstage, jumping up and down in happiness as the YouTuber exclaimed that she had recorded a cover of Stefani’s hit single, “Make Me Like You.”

Not many of her fans know this fun fact, but Rose is good friends with none other than the pop princess, Meghan Trainor. The duo became close after Rose posted a cover of Trainor’s “Lips are Movin,” which racked up millions of views and caught the “I Love Me” singer’s attention. Before she began setting The Voice stage on fire, Rose had been performing with Gladys Knight’s choir, Saints Unified Voices since late last year.

In case you missed the montage of the un-aired Battle Rounds, Aaliyah Rose and Savannah Leighton went head to head, belting out a duet of Shawn Mendes,’ “Treat You Better.” The Provo, Utah native beat out 16-year-old Leighton from Spring Garden, Alabama, to advance to the highly-anticipated Knockout Rounds. The brief clip showcased Stefani tearing up after what looked like a very tough decision, as she picked Rose and complimented her powerful vibrato by saying, “You were unbelievable. That vibrato blows my mind.” Now that Aaliyah has smoothly sailed into the Knockout Rounds, let’s wait and watch to see how she performs during the first week of April.
