In 2015, during an interview with InStyle, Saldana revealed that her husband adopted her surname. The couple have twin boys, Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana and Cy Aridio Perego-Saldana, born in November 2014. When Saldana was expecting, she said that her children will be bilingual as she and her husband have decided to speak both Spanish and English around them.
