The Young and the Restless has left us anxious about spoilers hinting at Victor Newman’s death. Is the one and only Mustache leaving the show? Another star is set to leave Days of Our Lives, while General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful welcome both familiar and new faces in the coming weeks. Get your soaps fix for the week right here, with the latest news on who’s coming and going on daytime TV.

Is the End Near for Victor Newman?

Say it ain’t so! After a life-threatening health crisis, Y&R’s Victor is seemingly dying. Spoilers for this week hint that The Mustache is going to succumb to his illness as his sons, Nick and Adam, contemplate his life and manipulations.

This isn’t the first time Victor has made us think that he’s going to die, but fans are in shock that this could actually be the end for him. There’s, however, no confirmed news about Eric Braeden, who has been The Mustache since 1980, leaving Y&R.

Over the years, he has constantly assured fans that he’s going nowhere and has no plans to retire. Still, fans tweeted Braeden all weekend, asking him if he’s leaving the show.

The frenzy reached a point where Braeden did respond. Although he couldn’t give away anything, he encouraged them to stay tuned to Y&R to find out what happens.

Moreover, he’s retweeting and sending love to Twitter users who have been speculating that Victor isn’t dead and is instead playing dead to set up the revenge-hungry Adam.

Fen May Be Back on Y&R and Also in Trouble

Christian LeBlanc posted a picture with his on-screen son, Fen Baldwin, aka Zach Tinker, on Instagram on September 8, sparking speculation that Fen might be returning to Y&R.

Fen hasn’t been seen on the show since February but has recently been mentioned. Michael Baldwin (LeBlanc) and his wife Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) son has relapsed into his drug problem and Lauren sets out in search of him. With this developing plotline, we might just see Fen again.

Brandon Barash to Leave DOOL

After weeks of speculation, it is finally confirmed that Brandon Barash is leaving DOOL. Rumors about his exit began when it was reported that Barash, who was recast as Stefan DiMera in 2018, finished taping his episodes months ago.

Now it’s been revealed that Barash’s final episodes will air towards the end of October. Further details haven’t been disclosed, though more rumors claim that he’s on a break from DOOL and will return to filming. That is, however, not confirmed.

It is also not confirmed whether the show will recast another actor for Stefan or close the chapter on him entirely. But there’s a theory that something will happen to Stefan and his heart will ultimately go to Julie, who is in need of a heart transplant.

The Jackal Is Back in Port Charles

Bradford Anderson has played Damian Spinelli, aka the hacker Jackal, off and on since 2006. He was briefly replaced by Blake Berris in 2017, but Anderson has since remained with GH on a recurring basis. And he’s coming on GH this week to help Jason and Sam with some sneaky hacking.

After talk show host Tamron Hall made a guest appearance on GH on September 13, Cassandra Pierce, another recurring character played by Jessica Tuck, is set to return to the show this week, too.
