General Hospital is not only packing on the drama, but it’s also bringing some major casting news in the week of September 30 to October 6. As one GH baddie meets his end, a daytime veteran comes to Port Charles. Meanwhile, another GH alum is heading to The Young and the Restless. This week’s spoilers will have you hooked on GH, as we’ve detailed in daytime soaps comings and goings here.

Shiloh’s Reign of Terror Ends on GH

As it was previously reported, Coby Ryan McLaughlin, who plays Shiloh on GH, is leaving the ABC soap. But the details surrounding his exit had been kept a secret from viewers.

The mystery came to an end on September 26, when Shiloh was officially done for. The Big Bad Shiloh was shot in the back with a flare gun Sam fired at him when she was trying to save Jason.

Now Shiloh is finally dead. But, since this is GH, we’re not ruling out the possibility of him returning as some ghost.

Michael E. Knight’s GH Role Revealed

All My Children veteran Michael E. Knight has GH fans excited for his upcoming appearance on the show. And we can’t help but wonder what role he’s going to play. Some were even speculating that he’d play his AMC character, Tad Martin, on GH.

It has, however, been revealed that Knight will play a man named Martin, as a nod to his iconic daytime character. Martin is set to appear this week to stir up Port Charles.

A GH Star Heads to Y&R

Jeffrey Vincent Parise, who played doctor twins Carlos and Joe Rivera on GH, is heading to Genoa City. The actor has been cast as Simon Black on Y&R for a multi-episode arc.

GH Recasts James West with Older Child Actors

James West, Maxie Jones’ son with her deceased husband, Det. Nathan West, was born in 2018. The Marciano twins portrayed James as a baby, and now the character is going to be aged.

Kyler and Caleb Ends, a set of adorable twin boys, have taken over the role of James as of August 30.
