Famous for his shooting accuracy, unanimously titled the most valuable player in NBA history, there’s more you need to know about Stephen Curry other than his basketball career. He was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1988, but grew up in Charlotte Hornets due to his father’s career. He is the oldest son in the family and developed his skills by practicing with his father every day. However, his mother also helped to instill certain skills, when his father was away with his team members on road trips. He gained national attention due to his impressive performance at Davidson College. Due to this recognition and his overall performance in basketball, he was selected in the year 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors.
