After the plot-twisting and stomach-turning Game of Thrones season 7 finale, fans have nothing but questions and Game of Thrones predictions. If you haven’t seen the season finale yet, then turn back now, because we are about to drop some serious Game of Thrones spoilers! Did Tyrion betray Daenerys? Is Tyrion really a Targaryen? We are getting to the bottom of a few Game of Thrones theories, right here.

Did Tyrion Betray Dany?

First thing’s first (and we are only going to say this once) Tyrion is not a Targaryen, as much as that would please his evil sister Cersei. She never needed an excuse to want him dead and now that he’s allied himself with Dany and serves her as her most trusted advisor, Tyrion is as good as a Targaryen in his sister’s eyes. But is he a traitor to his new queen? Most will say he’s not a traitor and is loyal to Dany, especially since he’s waging war on his own family. However, the family has never been good to him, to begin with. Cersei and Tyrion spoke after they all met for a truce but it was just a chance for Cersei to blame Tyrion for their dead family, and of course to let him know she’s pregnant. Cersei is basically the Janet Jackson of the show, having a child at what is considered too old an age—definitely a miracle baby!

Who’s the Heir to the Iron Throne?

This whole season has been built on the fight for the uncomfortable and all-powerful Iron Throne. And though Cersei has no real claim to it (and her children never did), she took it for herself after she blew up a chunk of the kingdom with wildfire. Nothing says a ruler like fear and Cersei inspires plenty of it. After years of wondering and filling plot holes, fans finally got the truth they were looking for: Jon Snow is not only a Targaryen but he’s not a bastard, at all! Sam Tarly and Bran Stark shared a scene where Sam revealed that Elia Martell and Rhagar Targaryen had their marriage annulled and there’s even a well-hidden record of it. Jon’s last name should technically be Sand (since he was born in Dorne not Winterfell, as Bran revealed) but in truth, his father never raped his mother, Lyanna Stark—she left on her own! There was a scene that showed the two engaging in a handfasting ritual, binding them together as a married couple, making Jon (whose real name is Aegon Targaryen) a legitimate heir to the Iron Throne.

This means that Robert’s Rebellion was all for nothing and that Lyanna never really loved Robert (who never loved Cersei) in the first place. How Lyanna left was the last piece of the puzzle and now fans know the truth. But while Bran and Sam are figuring out how and when to tell Jon, it’s already too late, he’s too busy having hot boat sex with his own aunt! Yes, after all that back and forth, Dany and Jon finally had sex—on a boat y’all! It was incest fitting for a Targaryen, since they always did it to keep the bloodline pure. We wonder how the rest of the Seven Kingdoms will take this?! We know that Dany isn’t going to just bend the knee to her nephew and will no doubt be mortified that she just slept with him. Fans can also expect a weird Jon Snow-Daenerys Targaryen-Tyrion Lannister love triangle to get in the way of any rational thought. We all saw how sad Tyrion looked when he saw Jon enter Dany’s room on the boat. Now, all we can do is wait until the final (and even shorter) season to find out how this all unfolds!
