President Donald Trump had Twitterverse talking for a whole other reason after the NBC town hall. While talking about his real estate dealings with moderator Savannah Guthrie, Trump made the use of the word “underlevered,” which had the Internet collectively scratching their heads. A handful experienced in business surmised that Trump meant “underleveraged,” a legitimate term in finance. But that didn’t stop the funny minds of Twitter from delivering the best jibes on “underlevered.” We’ve rounded up some hilarious reactions to Trump’s newly coined word right here.
I didn’t realize all this time I’ve been underlevered😂😝😝😝😝😆🤣🤣🤣

No. No. No. You misunderstood. By “underlevered” Trump meant “levered so much he couldn’t afford a large order of fries at Shoney’s.”

Cmon. I need fact-checking on whether Trump is “underlevered” or not. He definitely mansplained about how he was “underlevered.” Please check to see if POTUS is under a lever. (Or, perhaps, if this genius real estate investor, Wharton School grad is an actual simpleton)

We in the Unihted Shtatsh inherited our practice of underlevery from Thighland, along w/ our great love of covfefe & hamberders. We got both at same time we defended our airports from the British who came from the moon…I mean Mars.
And don't ever use the word "smart" with me.
