Once again, Todd Chrisley’s net worth is the topic of discussion and it doesn’t look good. The Chrisley Knows Best star has had money troubles for a while now and not even he’s able to keep up with the Kardashians! So, if you’re wondering “What does Todd Chrisley do?” and what’s the latest scandal, then have a look at our latest Todd Chrisley wiki and his net worth of under $5.0 million.
From Todd Chrisley’s children to gay rumors, the reality star and struggling mogul can’t seem to catch a break, especially now that there’s news of his tax debts being made public!
How Much are the Chrisleys Worth?
The Chrisley’s may have a lavish lifestyle but every family has its secrets —except, Todd’s money woes aren’t a secret. His net worth is still reported to be negative $5.0 million, despite the fact that the show is still on the air. (Who knew there was someone with a lower net worth than Lindsay Lohan?)
The show may be called Chrisley Knows Best, but many believe a name change might be in order, given his current streak of financial problems. The show follows the real estate developer and entrepreneur’s family and the seemingly never-ending ups and downs they face.

Chrisley’s Tax Debt was Made Public
According to Rare, Channel 2 Action News has learned that over $700,000 worth of liens have been filed against the reality star, 47, and his longtime wife, Julie, 44. The investigation has revealed that the couple has evaded paying their taxes for years! According to Fulton County court records, The Georgia Department of revenue reports that Todd owes over $290,000 and that Julie owes over $400,000, both from the 2009 tax year.
The records show that the reality star legally declared himself a Georgia resident on several court documents, but sources at Channel 2 Action News reported that the Chrisleys didn’t file for those years of residency. In 2016, the Chrisleys moved to Nashville, which doesn’t require state income taxes. Todd’s estranged son, Kyle, said that his father was deliberately hiding his assets from the government.
“I think he’s trying to hide money,” Kyle said. “He doesn’t like to pay what he owes.”
If the debts aren’t paid in seven years, then the state can renew the tax lien for another seven years. Talk about a seven-year itch!
Todd filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and although he stated he had $4.2 million in assets, his debts were equal to $49.4 million! The family moved from their 30,000 square-foot Atlanta home and their clothing expenses were $300,000.
Todd is Still Estranged from His Son
As if his financial issues weren’t enough, Todd has occasionally had to deal with his distant son, Kyle, who has been publicly ad odds with his father.
“Kyle is bipolar and normally, people that are bipolar, they seek out a way to self-medicate, which is what Kyle has done since he’s been young,” he told E! News. “I want what’s best for him.”
Kyle hasn’t been on the show since the first season, was admitted into rehab for drug abuse, and was ordered by Todd to go to Asia for charity work after Kyle had an affair with a married woman. Kyle also stated in the past that his father was using Chloe to reach certain demographics to boost ratings on the show.
“That is not true,” Todd told E! News, adding, “That is probably the most hurtful thing in the article. I’m not going to focus on Kyle’s stories because that’s my son and I love him.”
Todd added: “My relationship hasn’t changed because of the things Kyle’s doing. I love him the same since the day I brought him home from the hospital and held him the first time. I just have to love Kyle a little differently right now, because Kyle has to get back on his medicine. He has to get stable and understand — he knows the difference between right and wrong. They’ve all been brought up to know the difference.”
There’s No Coming Out for Todd
If you’re looking for Todd’s spin-off called “Chrisley Coming Out,” then good luck, because the flamboyant reality star isn’t giving into those gay rumors!
“I’m flattered that people think I can get laid on both ends, so that doesn’t bother me,” he said.
He added: “And my wife certainly is flattered that as many men want her husband as there are women,” he added. “With that being said, I’m never going to have a drought. You, on the other hand, might. But Todd will never have a drought.”
He may not be gay, but his clap back is on point!
