The Voice Recap

Tonight (Tuesday, December 6) at 8:00 p.m. EST, The Voice Live Semi-Final Results will commence and it will also be the cutthroat elimination round! That means that the current standings of contestants will be cut in half, with just four advancing to next week’s two- part Live Finale! The Live Finale Part 1 will air on Monday December 12, followed by the Live Finale Part 2 on December 13.

As it stands, the final eight contestants are: Team Blake’s Sundance Head, Team Adam’s Billy Gilman, Brendan Fletcher, and Josh Gallagher, Team Miley’s Aaron Gibson, and Ali Caldwell, and Team Alicia’s Christian Cuevas and We McDonald.

But who will win The Voice? That’s the question on everyone’s minds as Season 11 comes to a close. Time is running out and the winner will be announced a matter of days. Viewers both at home and in the audience, can start voting as early as 12:00 p.m. EST. It’s now up to the fans to choose who they want to advance to the next level and who they think should go home.

The Final Four Predictions

Fans all over have their own predictions for the hit NBC show, but who will be cut from this tonight’s episode? Due to popular opinion, it’s very possible that the final four for this round will be Billy, We, Sundance, and Ali. All four possible remaining contestants belong to a different team, which means each Voice judge could have something to lose tonight!

We McDonald

We performed a duet with Aaron and sang “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Both contestants are from opposing teams, so it may not have been possible that both were judged equally. We has performed very well so far, but audiences have mixed reviews.

Ali Caldwell

Ali has been hit or miss lately and sometimes, we’re not sure where to place her when it comes to singing iconic songs. She sang Whitney Houston’s classic “I Will Always Love You” and it was certainly one of her better performances, thankfully. Her restraint served the rendition well, even when she reached those near-impossible notes that reminded us why Houston was so legendary.

Sundance Head

Sundance was called on stage by none other than Wynonna Judd, to sing “Love Can Build a Bridge,” by The Judds. We will say this: Sundance is a man without fear and is always ready to accept a challenge. In the end, he gave an exceptional performance of the song.

Billy Gilman

Billy sang Celine Dion’s “I Surrender,” which probably made the audience and judges feel like prisoners. In rehearsals, Adam noted that his protégé needed to do a little soul-searching and find that same emotional commitment that brought the audience to tears when he sang that Adele number, a few weeks back. Could this performance cost Billy his potential winning slot?

Out of the four, it seems Billy the most likely the front runner, but again, the final decision is up to America. Who do you think will be on the chopping block tonight? Let us know in the comments below!
