Tekashi 6ix9ine has been fighting legal issues for the past two years, after a video he uploaded showed him and an underage girl involved in some kind of sexual activity. So, is Tekashi 6ix9ine locked up now as a result?
The rapper was supposed to show up at court on April 10, 2018, but he did not adhere to the orders. Now sources believe that Tekashi 6ix9ine might get locked up for good.
What Happened to Tekashi 6ix9ine?
The young rapper, who just released his newest song, “Gotti,” amid all the legal battles, is not available to talk about anything.
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Instagram and Twitter accounts have been taken over by his management. All the pictures have been deleted from the photo-sharing app.
The management team is trying to protect 6ix9ine from further defamation, which is why they took action.
In his version of the story, while talking to DJ Akademiks, 6ix9ine claimed that he did not touch the girl in question. He said that he was present in the video (which he uploaded on social media), but he wasn’t involved in any sexual activity with her.
The rainbow-haired icon went on to say that he was unaware that the girl was underage at the time. She apparently told him that she was 19.
Tekashi 6ix9ine claims that he was a 17-year-old at the time, but official records disagree. The documents show that he made false statements about his involvement with the girl.
There were apparently three videos in total, which showed the musician and the girl together. And in one video, the minor was on his lap.
In another video, the child was apparently naked and atop 6ix9ine and Taquan Anderson.
But 6ix9ine’s story does not add up to the official statement. He mentions that he was 17 at the time, but the officials are sure he was 18 years old, making him an adult.
In the interview with DJ Akademiks, the rapper explained that he was arrested for just “being there” and that they knew that there were other people involved with the child.
Tekashi 6ix9ine said that he was ready to take a DNA test and a polygraph test to prove his innocence when they took him in for questioning.
The rapper also said that they told him his bail would cost him $100,000 and that he was 18 when they arrested him. But he maintains that he was 17 when the videos were taken.

Where Is Tekashi 6ix9ine Now?
It was previously reported that the rising star pleaded guilty to one count of use of a child in a sexual performance, as he was seen in the videos.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was ordered to obtain his GED and not commit another crime or felony for a couple of years. He was told his sentence would be reduced after he met these requirements.
But as it was reported, 6ix9ine had failed his GED, and his lawyer asked for yet another adjournment from the court. The date given was April 10, 2018, but sources said that the rapper did not show up.
It was later revealed that the court postponed the date further, as they did not have an official copy of his GED results. The case is still pending, and fans are once again in the dark.
The postponed date has not been released yet, but now people are fearing that the rapper might be going to jail for good this time.
But if people were to believe their icon, then he was just there at the time and did not do anything with the girl.
