Businessman Robert Herjavec has led an interesting life: born in Croatia, residing in Canada, founder of a major technology company, and a regular investor on Shark Tank and its Canadian equivalent, Dragon’s Den. But perhaps he also has “business associate” or “financial assistant” to add to his resume. Perhaps even “sugar daddy?”

In September, Herjavec confirmed his relationship with Australian dancer Kym Johnson, his partner on season 20 of Dancing with the Stars (Herjavec separated from his wife in 2014). The pair was eliminated in the eighth week, but it could be argued that since love blossomed between the two, they were the real winners! Of course, Robert Herjavec is happy for all of Johnson’s success, but a recent tweet raises a fair question: is he in any way involved with that success?

“So proud of you @kym_johnson – be part of the #5678fitness launch and come out to these book signings in #NYC!! [sic]” Herjavec wrote on Twitter, referring to Johnson’s new fitness program, 5678 Fitness, a workout regimen that combines cardio training and Latin dance techniques. While Kym Johnson likely makes a pretty penny from Dancing with the Stars—she’s appeared on 14 seasons and won two—it is nowhere near the amount Robert Herjavec makes from his company, Herjavec Group, in addition to his other business ventures.

So of course the question is how much, if anything, Robert Herjavec has invested in getting this fitness program off the ground. There’s certainly nothing wrong with him helping his famous girlfriend out, after all. However, if he has contributed money to the project, it does raise some other significant questions, such as what happens if 5678 Fitness becomes the next health trend or what it means for the project if the two should split. But that’s probably getting ahead of ourselves, if not baseless speculation. So for now, let’s just be happy that this celebrity couple is having so much success!
