Fans looking for Halloween 2016 costume ideas were thrilled after watching The Walking Dead season seven premiere. After getting a better look at Negan, fans are hooked. Don’t be surprised to see similarly dressed people wielding barbed wire wrapped baseball bats this Halloween.
The Walking Dead season 7 premiere was a highly anticipated event for fans of the TV series. There was so much gore and bloodshed in the premiere that viewers are still in shock. The one unexpected development from the premiere episode is the growing amount of people looking for Negan Halloween costumes. After getting a more in-depth look at the character first introduced in the season 6 finale, fans are loving Negan’s style.
Who Is Negan?
Negan is a character in AMC’s The Walking Dead. He is the leader of a group of survivors, called the Saviors. They steal from others, and use fear-mongering to have other groups provide them with half of their supplies. Negan’s outfit in the premiere episode has become a sensation, and is quickly becoming a favorite among Halloween costumes for 2016.

Negan’s Costume
The costume comprises of a men’s leather motorcycle jacket, men’s long sleeve thermal, straight-leg jeans, leather combat boots, and a solid burgundy bandana. You need accessories like a leather belt, plastic barbed wire (safety first!), and a baseball bat. Wrap the barbed wire around the baseball bat, also known as Lucille. When Negan brings the bat down on somebody’s skull, it’s not a very pretty sight, so be sure to use caution this Halloween!
