Recently, in an interview Harris opened up about the lyrics of “My Way,” and the meaning behind the peppy number. The 32-year-old “This is What You Came For,” hitmaker stated, “The song’s kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then, you’re way more comfortable out of it. And it could be anything. It could be a job, or it could be a relationship. I had kind of the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn’t know how to work out how it sounded.” Is it just us, or does Harris seem to be throwing shade at his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift? Swift is the uncrowned queen of writing breakup songs, but now it looks like Harris isn’t too far behind her. As the saying goes, if you can’t beat em’, join ‘em!

Why wait to say, at least I did it my way

Lie awake, two faced

But in my heart I understand

I made my move and it was all about you

Now I feel so far removed

You were the one thing in my way

You were the one thing in my way
