Next years Miss America pageant will welcome 52 contestants to the stage, but there can only be one who takes the crown! The Miss America 2017 contestants will need to be on top of their game! When to Watch

The Miss America competition will stream live on ABC, this Sunday, September 11, 2016. Be sure to tune in from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST so you don’t miss a beat! The 96th annual pageant show will be hosted by Chris Harrison, from The Bachelor and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and co-hosted by Sage Steele of ABC’s and ESPN’s NBA Countdown.


Who will take the Miss America 2017 crown? It will be a race to the finish line against 52 Miss America 2017 participants – talk about pressure! They made their debut on Atlantic City’s boardwalk last week. The ceremony initiated two weeks of events leading up to the finale. You can check out the full contestants list by visiting


The preliminary competition aired on Monday, September 5, where judges began scoring the contestants based on their lifestyle and fitness performances in swimsuit, talent, evening wear, interview, and on-stage questions. David Zinczenko, Deanna Siller, Debbie Bryant Berge, Jennifer Caudle, Katherine Bailess, Nicole Lapin and Rob Bowman are the judges in charge of making that decision. The final night of the preliminary stage is September 11, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. EST – don’t miss it!

After those judges have narrowed the 52 contestants down to the top 15, the contestants will be evaluated by celebrity judges, Ciara, Mark Cuban of Shark Tank, actress Sara Foster, Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas, musician and actress Laura Marano, country singer-songwriter Cole Swindell and former Miss America of 1985, Sharlene Wells Hawkes. What a panel!
