I Am Jazz is about a girl named Jazz Jennings. The show centers around her and her family’s life, along with the experiences a normal teen goes through. The only difference is that Jazz is growing up transgender.

The show premiered on July 15, 2015, and so far, has received positive reviews. Its description on the TLC website reads:

“Meet Jazz Jennings! Although born male, Jazz is a transgender female and has been living as a girl since kindergarten. Parents Jeanette and Greg have spent the years finding doctors to treat their daughter, while fighting the discrimination and misconceptions associated with what it means to be transgender. But, now that Jazz is 14, she is on the brink of the biggest challenge of her life: high school.”

The fourth season of I Am Jazz premiered on January 2, 2018. The latest episode, “Big Trouble in the Big Apple,” will air on January 23, 2018.

Who Is Jazz Jennings?

Jazz Jennings was born on October 6, 2000, in South Florida to Greg and Jeanette Jennings, which makes her 17 years old. She has two older twin brothers, Griffen and Sander, as well as an older sister, Ari.
