Bachelor Nation has no respite. Right after the historic season of The Bachelorette, we head to Mexico for Bachelor in Paradise. Some of our favorite contestants from recent seasons of the franchise, including the handsome Ben Zorn, will star in Bachelor in Paradise.

Bachelor in Paradise is back again and better than ever. Even after a hiccup (side-eyeing Corinne and DeMario), the Bachelor spin-off is here with a new season and some old faces. Looking for a second chance at love on TV is Ben Zorn on Bachelor in Paradise. You might recall the contestant on The Bachelorette who won the First Impression Rose from Kaitlyn Bristowe. For those who forgot or missed out on Zorn’s first reality TV stint, here’s Ben Zorn’s wiki.

He’s a Fitness Buff

As if those toned biceps and ripped abs didn’t clue you in already, Ben Zorn is big on fitness. He even has “Move Right. Eat Well. Live Healthy” on his Instagram bio. He lives, breathes, and makes money off of fitness. He’s a health and fitness trainer who impressively bulked up after spending hours in the gym.

He’s a TRX qualified trainer, and certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He’s gone from trainer to entrepreneur and founded Zorn Fitness, his own gym in San Jose, California. So if you want some health advice, you know where to find him! Besides being a personal trainer, he’s also a motivational speaker and nutrition adviser. But it’s his brother Sebastian who is the qualified nutrition specialist at Zorn Fitness.

The 28-year-old’s net worth hasn’t been calculated, but we think this budding reality star is doing pretty well for himself. His gym has partnerships with sportswear and protein brands. He’s also making good of his handsome looks and buff body by modeling for health brands. He actually turned down BiP season 2 because of his commitments to Hello Fresh. He also uses his Instagram to promote brands like Blue Moon and Designer Protein.

He Played Football

Born Benedikt Zorn, The Bachelorette contestant was an all-round athlete when he was at San Jose University. He played for San Jose’s football team as an offensive lineman. He packed some weight until he was a shocking 300 pounds. That’s when he decided he needed to switch to a healthier lifestyle.

He changed positions in his sophomore year, risking his chances as a starter. He lost 65 pounds during the off-season and returned to training camp to build his stats in a new position.

Always look forward but never forget the past. ????: @creignakano

But his journey wasn’t without struggles. He both lost and gained weight erratically. So he committed himself to maintaining his fitness and helping others with weight and fitness struggles too.

And to amp up the hotness, he’s European. That’s right, Benedikt Zorn is a native of Vienna, Austria and is fluent in German. He’s also got a German rottweiler named Zeus, and the pup has his own Instagram account. Now that’s puppy love!

He Lost His Mother

What’s a Bachelorette contestant without an emotional back story? Right before his debut on The Bachelorette, Ben and Sebastian’s mother, Waltraud Zorn, passed away. His mother was his inspiration to turn his life around and adopt a healthier lifestyle. His Instagram is testimony to his love for his mother with the many inspirational messages about his mother.

On the Mother’s Day before his Bachelorette debut, he posted a heartfelt message about his mother. He also opened up about her to Kaitlyn on a one-on-one date, and if you don’t shed at least one tear, you must have a heart of ice!

Don’t miss Ben Zorn’s antics in Sayulita, Mexico when Bachelor in Paradise season 4 premieres on August 14 at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
