Former Vampire Diaries star, Nina Dobrev, has been laying low ever since her exit from the hit show back in March. She is keen on taking some time off and is taking things slow. Along with a role in The Final Girls, Dobrev has made only red carpet appearances throughout the year. And her recent Instagram post showed what Dobrev has been up to for the holidays. The group image she shared showcased her close pal and Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul stealing the show in the most amazing and effortless way ever!
Dobrev, 26, posted an image of her New York trip with four other friends, and wrote in the caption, “This is hands down my favorite pic from our #SacredHeartsClub NYC trip. Notice @glassofWhiskey So many people in this photo, and yet all the way in the back, HE IS THE ONLY person in focus… That’s a talent Aaron. You have a gift. #FindTheLens [sic].”
Surprisingly enough, Dobrev was right. Paul, despite being at the back of the photo and his face half obscured, managed to be the center of attention what with his creepy expression! His mouth was slightly open with a shocked look, and the focus of the snap was indeed on him. The 36-year-old’s fans left comments on this photo saying things like, “He is always the best looking face in the picture! [sic]” “What a legend!!! Aaron! [sic],” and of course, his signature line from Breaking Bad: “Yeahhhhhh bitch! [sic]”
On the other hand, several Instagram users were still pining over Dobrev to return to The Vampire Diaries. While the actress is done with the show for good, her fans still can’t get over the fact. One die-hard fan said, “Alright u can’t come back as elena right? But you can still come back as Katherine though right? Come back [sic].”
Dobrev also shared a second photo, this time of the whole group with the hashtag, “Friends Are Chosen Family.” Originally posted by her friend, Jedidiah Jenkins, the snap was a preview of their new Christmas tradition: “Ugly Sweater New York Takeover.” Sounds like a great idea!
