Bean Was in Power

Among Bean’s earliest roles was an appearance in The Divergent Series: Allegiant in 2016. But it was his portrayal of FBI agent Greg Knox in Starz’s gripping drama Power that put him on the map, though he hasn’t appeared on the show since 2016.

He went on to appear Transformers: The Last Knight and HBO’s short-lived series, Here and Now.

But 2019 is going to be Andy Bean’s breakout year. He’s starring in two of the biggest horror-driven productions that release this year.

We’ll first see him as the gnarly ecological creature, Alec Holland/Swamp Thing, when the series hits the DC Universe platform on May 31. Teen Wolf star Crystal Reed transitions from Gotham to the murky horrors of the swamp alongside Bean.

Bean’s Alec Holland is a scientist investigating a swamp-born virus with Abby Arcane (Reed) on Swamp Thing. A series of events turn him into an elemental creature that is stuck between balancing the safety of his home and the nature he’s now a part of.

Later this year, Bean will play the older version of Stanley Uris in It: Chapter Two. The character was previously portrayed by Wyatt Oleff.

Bean Is Engaged to Singer Lizzy Loeb

Andy Bean is off the market, much to broken hearts everywhere. The rising Hollywood star is engaged to Lizzy Loeb, another upcoming talent in the music world.

Loeb comes from a family of musicians, with her father, Chris Loeb, counted among the best jazz guitarists in the genre. Her mother, Carmen Cuesta, and her sister, Christina Loeb, are singers in their own right.

She was born in New York City and raised in both the U.S. and Spain. Currently, this singer-songwriter is making music in L.A.

Bean and Loeb have been together since at least 2015. And since 2018, she’s been sporting a sparkling rock on that all-important finger on Instagram. And not just that, she’s even referring to Andy as her fiancé!

The Swamp Thing may have trouble balancing his romance with Abby with all the elemental forces of nature, but it looks like Andy Bean’s love life is smooth-sailing.
