The scheduled fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise was shut down due to allegations of “misconduct” involving two of the cast members. Host of The Bachelor franchise, Chris Harrison, gave a statement regarding the situation.
“The safety and care of the cast and crew of our show is of the utmost importance to us. It is with this thought in mind that we made the decision to suspend filming,” Harrison said in to Good Morning America. “Out of respect to all involved, there’s only so much I can and will say at this time. Normally with a situation like this I would not say anything until the incident is fully resolved, but with all the rumors and misinformation being put out there I don’t find that to be possible anymore.”

According to reports, Olympios claimed that she was in a blackout state and couldn’t consent to any sexual acts she may have committed with fellow Bachelor in Paradise star, DeMario Jackson. Sources close to TMZ said that the pair were very close to each other the whole day and then she ended up naked in the swimming pool. Some sources allege that the some cast members told Olympios that they were concerned during her time with Jackson and the state she was in, while others allege that the production team “insist” that the cast didn’t complain at all. Jackson claims he remembers everything, while Olympios says she has no memory of their time together. According to E!, she was only on the show to be a wing woman and had no intention of meeting anyone. There is even a rumored boyfriend in the mix!
There was talk of Olympios and Jackson engaging in intense “rubbing, touching and fingering” in the pool, but Jackson disputed any assault allegations due to being too drunk to engage in intercourse of any kind. Reports claim a concerned producer noticed questionable behavior in the pool and filed a formal complaint to Warner Bros. Now, Warner Bros. is currently investigating the incident and production has been shut down until further notice.
