Why Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Marriage Might Be Over for Good

Actor Michael Douglas, 68, recently said that there was “no crisis” in his marriage to 43-year-old Catherine Zeta-Jones and that their split was only temporary. But it doesn’t look like the celebrity couple will be rekindling their marriage any time soon because Douglas appears to be moving out. The actor was spotted moving a large suitcase and several bags out of their family home in Manhattan, New York. However, he was still reportedly wearing his wedding band. Zeta-Jones was also seen wearing her wedding ring, so maybe there’s hope for this celebrity couple?

Whether they patch up their marriage or prepare for a divorce, both Douglas and Zeta-Jones are reportedly vowing to do whatever is in the best interests of their two kids, who are only 10 and 13 years old.

If their marriage does end in divorce, the celebrity couple does have an ironclad prenup in place, which guarantees Zeta-Jones millions. Even still, the prenup would probably end up saving Douglas a fortune—he had to fork up a whopping $45.0 million to his first wife when their marriage ended in 2000.

What do you think: Will Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones get back together, or are they headed for a divorce?
