Who is Shamea Morton Married To?

Fans want to know exactly who stole Morton’s heart and made her the happiest she’s ever been. Mwangi is a businessman, who is originally from Kenya. Unfortunately, no one knows Gerald Mwangi’s age.

Gerald Mwangi’s Net Worth

As to what Gerald Mwangi’s job is, that is also unknown. But whatever he does, he clearly does it very well! We all know weddings aren’t cheap, especially when it’s a destination wedding! But judging by the photos, it seems that no expense was spared and Morton got everything she wanted, including her dream man. And let’s be real—Morton isn’t marrying a broke man, anyway!

Gerald Mwangi and Shamea Morton in ATL

The newlyweds met in a lounge in Atlanta and later hit it off at a cookout. Where do the happy couple plan on spending the rest of their lives? Atlanta, of course! In an interview with The Daily Dish, Morton talked about where she and Mwangi wanted to end up after they got married.

“He and his siblings came to the States for college. So he’s been in the States right before his 18th birthday, and he’s like, ‘No, I never want to leave Atlanta,'” Morton said. “That’s where all my family is, and he has all his friends here, and we just have a really great life in Atlanta. That’s where we want to raise our kids, and this is home for us.”

Looks like we don’t have to worry about not seeing the new Mrs. Mwangi on The Real Housewives of Atlanta next season, though it’s unclear if her husband will be on the show in the future.

Shamea Morton’s Wedding

Morton and Mwangi exchanged vows in a garden ceremony at the Fairmont Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki. Morton was surrounded by her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars and the rest of her family.

Morton told The Daily Dish how grateful she was to have fallen in love with Mwangi.

“He is amazing. He is definitely a Godsend. And they say you got to kiss a couple of frogs before you get your Prince Charming, and that is definitely what he is,” Morton said about her then-fiancé. “I think about where I was five years ago even, and I think about where I am now, and all I can say is, ‘God, he is so good, and he is so merciful, and he is so understanding, and he is so patient and forgiving.’ And it’s nothing but his work that brought us together.”

We hope the couple many happy years together and we wish them well!
