Obviously it isn’t an easy feat to stand out in a crowd of 30 beautiful women vying for one guy’s affections. However, Rachel Linsday’s outgoing personality, looks, and intelligence immediately helped her captivate Viall’s heart from the get-go. Unfortunately for fans, the thrice-rejected Bachelor alum eliminated Rachel in week 9, giving the final two roses to Raven Gates and Vanessa Grimaldi. Viewers who tuned in to watch last night’s episode saw the tearful Rachel bidding adieu to Nick, but not before giving him a long and tight hug that surely had fans reaching for a box of tissues. In an interview with E!, Rachel admitted, “I was very shocked. It’s one of those things where it’s out of sight, out of mind, but to watch it and to go right back to that moment, I don’t care how many months have passed, it was very, very hard for me to watch, and it made me realize how much I wanted it to work.”

Walking away from the possibility of a future with Nick could not have been an easy decision for Rachel, who revealed that she would’ve accepted a marriage proposal from Nick. She said, “Yes. back then, I would’ve. I’ve moved on since then and time heals all and to be back with family and friends and work, it’s a different situation, but I 100 percent would’ve said yes back then. That was the mind-state that I was in.”
