“When is the next NBA Finals game?” “What Channel is the Warriors game on?” These may seem like silly questions to someone who follows basketball, but to those who are only interested in what is potentially the final game, a search for “When is Game 6 NBA Finals?” “Warriors Cavs start time,” or “Warriors Cavs TV channel” is perfectly rational. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch Game 6 and the NBA Finals Game 6 schedule.

NBA Finals Game 6 Schedule: Info

Here are the answers to the big questions those new to the NBA Finals might have:

When is the next NBA Finals game? Thursday, June 16, 2016

What time is the Warriors game? 9:00 p.m. EST

What channel is the Cavaliers game on? ABC

Where is Game 6 taking place?  Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio

NBA Finals Schedule: Live Streaming

Live online streaming of the game will be available in severalw ways. The first is by way of ABC’s online streaming service, WATCH ABC, which allows users to stream via their TV using AirPlay or Chromecast, or it can be used with an Apple TV device. The app can be downloaded here, and acquiring and installing the app has no charge, though its actual use requires being subscribed to a participating TV provider. Those without a subscription can still see several recent episodes of shows, but nothing older; it’s unlikely that the NBA Finals would be available to non-subscribers, though we could be wrong.

The game will also air on ESPN3, which is ESPN’s online streaming service (even though its name sounds like a third network). The stream can be found on ESPN’s official web site here. ESPN3 has been made available to those in the U.S., Australia, Europe (with the exception of Italy), the Middle East, Brazil, New Zealand, and Chile. However, in the U.S. at least, a subscription to an affiliated Internet service provider is required to access the stream; DirectTV customers are also allowed access.

For those who aren’t with one of the possible ISPs or who live in a country besides the ones listed above, there is a third official option: Sling TV. This is a TV streaming package that provides numerous television channels via the Internet. The service is available via an app but also supports Apple TV, the Xbox One, and other devices made for use in conjunction with a television set in a living room environment. Like many similar options, though, it is only available in the United States and there is a subscription fee required; however, a free one-week trial is available, which is more than enough time to catch Game 6 of the NBA Finals and, if the Cleveland Cavaliers win tonight and tie the series 3-3, to see Game 7 as well.

Speaking of the Xbox One, the ESPN mobile apps can be used on the home entertainment console as well.

NBA Finals Schedule: Mobile Devices

While it can be used for TV, as mentioned above, ABC’s WATCH ABC app is primarily designed for streaming the network’s programming via mobile devices; if you can’t be near a TV at tonight’s game time of 9:00 p.m. EST, simply access the app on your phone or tablet, enter the necessary info and watch the game while on the go.

ESPN3 can also be accessed on mobile devices using the Watch ESPN app, which is available via the Apple, Android, Amazon, and Windows online stores; whether it’s on an iPhone or an Amazon Fire, you don’t have to miss what could be the end of the NBA playoffs. ESPN also has a regular app that will be streaming the game, which is available from the same sources.
