Former U.S. President Bill Clinton spent some time in Vegas, but he wasn’t exactly partying up a storm. Instead, he was watching his wife take part in the Democratic debate for the 2016 presidential election.

He posted a photo to his Twitter account of him watching Hillary Clinton on TV from what looks like a Vegas hotel room. And in the caption, the 42nd president showed off his humorous side by reinventing the phrase, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” Instead, Clinton wrote, “What happens in Vegas – is I watch @HillaryClinton prove she’s the most qualified candidate for POTUS.” He also added the hashtag “ImWithHer,” which is trending right now, in support of the former First Lady as the first female head of the United States.

Clinton wasted no time in tweeting his support for her, even after the debate came to an end, writing, “I’m proud of Hillary Clinton. Tonight, she showed why she should be President.” Supporters showed their approval by retweeting Bill Clinton’s two posts over 14,000 times combined.

Many feel Hillary won the debate last night with her quick, witty replies and comradeship. Her “boss moment” was when she simply stated, “No,” in response to the moderator asking whether she wanted to comment on the e-mail scandal brought up by Governor Chafee.

The Clintons have survived plenty of drama in the past, what with the Monica Lewinsky scandal and subsequent impeachment of Bill Clinton, but they have succeeded in overcoming all the problems thrown their way. What’s more, the pair recently celebrated their 40th marriage anniversary and even posted adorable throwback pictures in honor of the milestone.

The current presidential hopeful posted an image of the two of them smiling, with the caption, “40 years ago, I married the cute guy from the library. Happy anniversary @billclinton – you’ve still got it! -H.” Meanwhile, her husband posted an even more adorable photo of the two of them on their wedding day, gazing into each other’s eyes, with the caption, “Seems like only yesterday… [sic].”
