It’s already about three months into 2016, and people may be wondering why a hilarious comedy movie hasn’t been released as yet. Well, this could be an answer to the question of what the newest comedy of 2016 could be. On March 24, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first official trailer of War Dogs, a biographical comedy starring Jonah Hill and Miles Teller, and you can watch it right here!

Yes, War Dogs will be the first Jonah Hill comedy movie of 2016 and will bring some great laughs to his fans and to all movie goers. Watching the trailer for War Dogs has revealed that Jonah Hill and Miles Teller will be starring as arms dealers who bag a huge government contract to supply weapons to U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

While the movie’s plot may sound fictional, it’s actually based on a true story that was covered in an article written by Guy Lawson for Rolling Stone. War Dogs is based on the life of young arms dealers David Packouz (Jonah Hill) and Efraim Diveroli (Miles Teller) who become overnight-millionaires after signing a $300.0 million contract from Pentagon to supply weapons to U.S. troops based in Afghanistan.

Funnyman Jonah Hill will pair up with Fantastic Four star Miles Teller for the first time, and from the looks of the trailer, the duo seems well-suited for the job. The movie will be directed by Hangover director Todd Philips and will be produced by Bradley Cooper and Scott Budnick. Before we spill any more about the film, watch the War Dogs trailer below and grab a ticket for its August 19th release!
