The 33-year-old started her movie career in 1999 with Random Hearts. She has also worked on several other movies, such as We Are Marshall, Stone Of Destiny, Fantastic Four, Transcendence, and The Martian. Along with movies, she has also worked on several television shows, namely Jack & Bobby, Entourage, American Horror Story: Murder House, and Moonbeam City. Coming to theaters on September 2, this movie is a science-fiction thriller written by Seth Owen and directed by Luke Scott. The film is about an artificial being who was born—or rather madein a laboratory. Now, the real twist in this story is when a corporate risk management consultant needs to decide whether this artificial being should be killed or kept alive. This film stars many actors alongside Kate Mara, including Toby Jones, Michelle Yeoh, Anya Taylor- Joy, Paul Giamatti, and Rose Leslie. Trailers and clips of the movie are available online.

Leavey

Based on true events, Leavey is a story about a Marine corporal who was a K-9 operator posted in Iraq. It is a movie about determination and love between this young female, named Megan Leavey, and a combat dog named Rex, with whom she worked and whom she eventually adopted. This movie is directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and has Kate Mara in the lead role of Megan Leavey. There are many other actors in this movie, like Edie Falco, Tom Felton, and Common. No release date appears to have been set yet.

The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards

If you fancy movies falling into the genre of comedy, drama, or short stories for that matter, then you should definitely go for this one. This movie was adopted from Robert Boswell’s book The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards. The movie features seven people who set out to explore the fine difference between various things like memory and history, and fantasy and reality of humans. The star cast of the movie also includes James Franco, Rico Rodriguez, Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Kimmel, Natalie Portman, Jacob Loeb, Bo Mitchell, Jim Parrack, Tony Cox, and Abigail Spencer.
