American rapper Trippie Redd (whose consistent beef with fellow rapper 6ix9ine has taken over the Internet) has cemented his place in the new age hip-hop world! But just how rich is the rapper? Trippie Redd’s net worth in 2018 is estimated at $1.5 million. Keep reading to find out how he made his money!

Trippie Redd’s Real Name

Trippie Redd, whose real name is Michael White, was a straight-A student at school with a 4.0 GPA during his high school days. But he was always interested in music more than his studies, a quality he shared with both his parents.

Although he didn’t pursue his studies after high school, Trippie Redd seems to have made a better choice in following his musical dreams. And, it’s already paying off!

Trippie Redd’s Songs and Albums

Most recently, Trippie Redd is in full celebratory mode as he received recognition in the form of a plaque. It commemorates his accomplishment of hitting more than one billion views of combined global streaming.

This includes over 5,500,000 global adjusted tracks and 600,000 global adjusted albums under the TenThousand Projects label titled A Love Letter to You and A Love Letter to You 2. Also included are the U.S. gold singles, “Dark Knight Dummo,” “Love Scars,” and “Poles 1469” (May 2018).

Before the Fame

Born on June 18, 1999, Trippie Redd’s age is 18. He was born and raised in Canton, Ohio by his mother and reportedly still lives there today.

Music was always Redd’s companion as he grew up, and his mother was a great influencer in Trippie Redd’s musical affiliations. She would listen to artists like Beyoncé, Ashanti, Jay-Z, and Tupac.

His father was in prison when Redd was born and throughout his upbringing. But he claims that he has learned a lot about music from his father, as well.

“My dad—even though he wasn’t there a lot—he taught Mama all the music. At the end of the day, I really got it from him, but from her at the same time,” Redd expressed in an interview.

Redd is listed among the notable “Bloods” street gang members, which has had people like Tupac Shakur, Suge Knight, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, and Birdman as a part of the infamous gang.

The Bloods gang is known for prostitution, extortion, drug trafficking, and more. They also have an outwardly expressed hate for the rival “Crips” gang.

It was only a matter of time before Redd started a career in music, and he found rap as his genre.

He began rapping with Lil Tae who died in a car accident, and soon became more comfortable with it.

Redd had an older brother, who died when he was young. He said that his brother was like a father to him and that he would drive him around and buy him shoes.

Trippie Redd’s Earnings

Trippie Redd made things clear to his fans when he mentioned that he was signed on to Quality Control Music’s management and not the record label.

He did not have a record deal with them, but he certainly struck a deal with Strainge Entertainment, which is now known as Elliot Grainge Entertainment.

Signing Deals for a Golden Future

Trippie Redd was signed onto QC Management. He signed with Elliot Grainge Entertainment after his songs hit the half-billion streams mark on SoundCloud, which is where Redd started his career.

The company has not released the signing amount. But we’re sure he’s cashed in hundreds of thousands already!

Rapper 6ix9ine stated that he is also signed onto the same label, but Trippie Redd says that he is not. And that out of the $30,000 6ix9ine made from his deal, Redd was given $5,000.

It’s unclear as to how much money the duo (who were once good friends) have made through their deals. But it’s safe to say they’re living the high life!

Trippie Redd recorded two singles when he was starting his career titled “New Ferrari” and “Sub-Zero.” However, it seems he deleted them from the Internet.

Today, he is estimated to be earning more than $350,000 through YouTube alone!

His SoundCloud streams have also reportedly brought in an estimated $10,000 to $15,000, with over 500K followers on the streaming site.

Social Media Earnings

Before Trippie Redd deleted his Instagram account (only to return with 39 posts so far), his endorsement earnings through the photo-sharing app could be calculated at an estimated $5,000 per post.

While his follower numbers, which boasts 3.1 million now and rising on a daily basis, he is only going to make more in the future. And as a social media influencer, he has a lot of brands flocking to use his reach to the masses!

Business on Point

The “Love Scars” singer sure knows how to make a brand of his music career! His online merchandise shop showcases products like jewelry, hoodies, bags, and accessories.

These items are priced between $12 and $70 a pop on his official online store, Trippie Redd Merchandise.

We’re sure the rapper is making a pretty penny through the website as his fan following is only rising by the day!

Trippie Redd’s Assets

While on his way to stardom, Trippie Redd has been collecting a lot of jewelry. And some of those pieces have caught the attention of the fans.

So, just how much do these studded necklaces and rings cost? And where does Trippie Redd buy all his jewelry?

You’ll be shocked to know the cash he throws down on some of these extravagant pieces…

Iced-Out Jewelry

Trippie Redd posted a video showing off his diamond-studded “8” ball pendant and chain, which looks equally exquisite as it does expensive. He wears the pendant (which opens up to show a smaller pendant inside, also studded in diamonds and stones) with a padlock and a Miami-Cuban link chain.

He claims that the piece cost him a whopping $200,000 and it was made by Avianne Jewelers. They cater to many hip-hop A-listers as well as other up and coming artists.

Trippie Redd’s bone collector necklace, however, was reportedly designed and purchased at AB Golds.

The piece has 20,000 diamonds with VS+ clarity on a combination of yellow, white, and rose gold metals. The number 14 has also been added in the exact same spot as Trippie Redd’s tattoo, which seems to be all gold.

It could easily cost $400,000. And Redd flexes it in an Instagram video claiming the amount!

He also added that he is now the proud owner of a stunning jewelry collection that amounts to a whopping $1.0 million, and he is just at the start of it all!

AB Golds seem to be his go-to grill jewelers as well. His signature red stone-studded vampire fang grill was also reportedly purchased there.

Looking at the trend, we’re sure he has shed around a cool $150,000 for the diamond-studded teeth. And the rapper has more in his collection.

Vandalized Luxury Cars

Expensive cars were used as an etching board by a Redd fan last year. He went ahead and carved the numbers 14 and 1400, and the words “Trippie Redd” on the hoods of an Aston Martin ($200,000 to $300,000), a brand new BMW i8 ($135,000 to $250,000), and a Ferrari (which could cost up to $400,000).

It was estimated that the fan caused more than $15,000 worth of damage to the vehicles. He was even caught on camera doing the act!

The dealership company offered a reward to catch the perp. But reportedly Redd was not affected in the matter.

Trippie Redd’s House

There is a lot of speculation as to whether the A Love Letter to You rapper has purchased a home or not. But there was a post in which his caption may have given a clue.

Redd posted a video of himself swinging on a chandelier and said that he was now worth $7.0 million and that he bought a $300,000 home for his mother!

Previously, reports claimed he still lived with her in Canton, Ohio. But with the vast (and fast) increase in his wealth from his music, we wouldn’t be surprised if he’s cashing in on a new home!

It was unclear as to where the home was located or when he purchased it, which is why the property in question is still just speculation. It is also still debated that the rapper now lives in Los Angeles, California.
