It looks like this year is looking much better than last for Tracy Morgan. After having barely survived a car crash in June 2014, the funnyman has said “I do.”
The 46-year-old wed his fiancée, Megan Wollover, on August 23, about fourteen months after the collision. The wedding was a small affair, attended by close friends and family. Also present at the emotional event was the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Maven.
Wollover, 28, confessed to People, “After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life,” adding, “We have been through so much and our love is stronger for it.”
Earlier this year, Morgan also spoke to the magazine, telling them how he went “hard with the therapy,” just because he didn’t want to walk with his new wife down their wedding aisle while holding a cane or sitting in a wheelchair.
The magazine also mentioned that the Saturday Night Live cast member’s representatives have confirmed the celebrity couple’s marriage. Photos of the intimate wedding ceremony will be released in an upcoming issue of People magazine.
In addition to enjoying his life as a newlywed, Morgan will also be able to relish in returning to his old Saturday Night Live stomping grounds—the comedian is set to host an episode in the upcoming season.
