Nothing says romance quite like the zombie apocalypse. The Walking Dead season 6 episode 9, the hit show’s return from mid-season break, airs on Sunday, February 14, a.k.a. Valentine’s Day. Hopefully the scheduled release date doesn’t interfere with plans with your sweetheart, but don’t worry; you can always watch online later!

The Walking Dead has a lot going on heading into its return, with November’s mid-season finale, Start to Finish, having featured the walkers entering the Alexandria Safe-Zone, a struggle with Wolf, and the death of Deanna. But perhaps most interesting was the preview for The Walking Dead season 6 episode 9, which features the introduction of the heavily armed group led by the show’s next major antagonist, Negan, played by The Good Wife star Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Fans of Robert Kirkman’s original comic book, on which the TV series is based, already have some of an idea of what to expect when Negan officially appears, which is reported to not be until the final episode of the season. However, Kirkman himself spoke up on what fans of the live-action version should expect, saying, “Negan is kind of an atomic bomb that’s going to be dropped on the show and the show will probably never be the same after that. So buckle up, I guess?”

But a lot is set to happen between now and Negan’s debut. According to recent spoilers, based in part on events that have already transpired in the comics, expect Carl Grimes to be seriously injured. And if that wasn’t enough, showrunner Scott Gimple has said that The Walking Dead season 6 episode 9 will have a potentially unprecedented death count! Will your favorite character survive this season?
