The Voice will return for a tenth season with Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton as the judges, joined by Christina Aguilera who returns as a judge for her sixth season. The reality show’s format will see these famous musicians coach their selected contestants to the finale, with one coach and his/her contestant taking the trophy. The Voice season 10 premiere airs Monday, February 29 at 8/7c on NBC.
The auditions to participate on the show are scheduled for February 6 and 7 in Chicago and February 20 and 21 in Philadelphia. The auditions for Houston and Memphis were held back in January, so if you’ve missed it, you’ll either have to journey to one of the other cities or try out next season. The age limit for entering is 15 and older, with the cut-off date being March 28. You can check out the full eligibility list on the NBC web site.
As Pharrell Williams returns to coach for his fourth season, Christina Aguilera will be filling in for Gwen Stefani, which may leave Blake Shelton, Stefani’s new boyfriend, less engrossed this season. This season will also introduce pop star Miley Cyrus, who will join the show and these judges this season as a “Key Adviser” to the coaches and their contestants. This will certainly bring a new angle to The Voice season 10. The show’s Instagram page shared a photo of Miley Cyrus, let’s just say, getting acquainted with the set in a way only she can. (See the photo below.)
So, if you think you have a voice that will turn the chairs of the biggest minds of today’s music industry, rush to the auditions and get yourself in for an amazing experience. And, if you’d prefer to sit back and just listen to the good voices, that’s alright too—just make sure you watch The Voice season 10 premiere on Monday, February 29 at 8/7c on NBC.
