You can also watch an online stream of the episode through The CW web site.

The promos and episode synopsis for The Vampire Diaries season 7 episode 10 show that after his mother, Lily Salvatore (Annie Wersching), dies, Damon is forced to deal with the wrath of Julian (Todd Lasance). The episode will also see Damon fighting his own tragic Civil War memories while being trapped inside the Phoenix Stone. And in order to get out, Damon must overcome his darkest demon.

Meanwhile, Bonnie (Kat Graham) is doing everything she can to try and rescue Damon before he gets permanently affected by the Phoenix Stone’s effect—as viewers know, the longer Damon stays trapped, the farther he plummets down a dark path.

The season 7b premiere also reveals Caroline getting consumed by her dark, metaphysical pregnancy. She might even negate Alaric (Matthew Davis) for his different thoughts regarding the “babies.” The show is likely to take a small jump forward to when Caroline’s pregnancy is almost through. This step has been taken as Candice King, the actress who plays Caroline, was pregnant in real life and just gave birth on January 25, which means she’ll be on a maternity leave till the latter part of the season.
