Boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and actor Sylvester Stallone have one major thing in common—their boxing gear.

Sylvester Stallone, 69, is gearing up to reprise his iconic role of fictional boxer Rocky Balboa in the upcoming film Creed. As one of the producers behind the movie—not to mention the guy who created and gave life to the legendary Rocky character—Stallone took it upon himself to make sure the movie was equipped with only the best.

Stallone reportedly personally got in touch with Elvis Grant, the CEO of Grant Worldwide, to request that the company provide the boxing equipment for all of the fighters in the upcoming blockbuster. Grant Worldwide is arguably one of the best companies for the job, considering Mayweather exclusively uses Grant products for all his fights. And when it comes to authenticity, what better than to use the gear that a real-life undefeated fighter uses? (Mayweather is currently 48-0 in the ring.)

Aside from nabbing a major Hollywood contract, Grant also landed a role in Creed—according to Grant, Sylvester Stallone offered him a cameo in the movie. Creed is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2015 and will be about Rocky Balboa training and mentoring Adonis Johnson (played by Michael B. Jordan), the son of his old rival and late friend, Apollo Creed.
