Long story short, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is a government official in dire need of a black ops team to take down a supernatural villain. Hence, the Suicide Squad is assembled to bring down the Enchantress, who has possessed the body of an archaeologist named June Moone (Cara Delevingne).

In the end, the Suicide Squad succeeds in destroying the Enchantress and her evil brother, Incubus, using a bomb. Unfortunately, El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) sacrifices himself, and in the bargain saves June Moone so that she can resume her life as a normal human being.

The surviving members of the Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) return to prison to serve the rest of their remaining terms, getting ten years shaved off their jail sentence as a reward. You may be wondering what other prison perks the Suicide Squad members get for saving the world. Well, Deadshot gets to see his daughter, Killer Croc has a TV installed in his prison cell, and Harley Quinn gets an espresso machine.

Fans are probably wondering, what happened to their beloved Joker (Jared Leto)? Well, he ultimately survives the helicopter crash that was thought to have killed him. Thank God, he gave us quite a scare there!

Mid-Credits Scene

The last scene in the film showcases the Joker helping Harley Quinn break out of prison implying that they may reprise their roles in Ben Affleck’s, The Batman. We can’t wait to see what these two psychopaths do next! They certainly are made for each other!

Post-Credits Scene

If you’re one to usually go running to the bathroom once the movie credits start rolling, we suggest you stay put in your seat if you want to catch the post-credits scene. We promise it’ll be worth the wait! As the scene unfolds, we see Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) conspiring with none other than Bruce Wayne! Waller hands Batman dossiers, that are revealed to contain classified intel on Aquaman and the Flash. Batman is displeased about the Suicide Squad’s involvement in vanquishing the evil Enchantress and assures her that the next time around, the Justice League will take care of the supernatural villains!

After Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad is the third movie in the DC Extended Universe. Well, Justice League and Wonder Woman are all set to hit the theaters next year, so it’ll be interesting to see how this story line plays out. Will the David Ayer-directed venture return for another reunion of the super-villains? Sorry fans, there’s no news on that front just yet, but be assured, we’ll be the first ones to let you know if does happen!
