Bart Simpson may still be a kid, but he’s getting the hots for his new teacher and you can’t even blame him for it, because it’s none other than Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, who will be voicing the character of Mrs. Berrera in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons.

In an upcoming episode titled Teenage Mutant Milk-Caused Hurdles airing this season, Bart consumes something containing faulty hormones that end up triggering early puberty. He even gets a mustache, along with sentiments for his hot new teacher. To be fair, Mrs. Berrera gives Bart more attention than he’s used to getting from his other teachers.

As EW reports, Vergara’s character will also find herself connecting with Principal Skinner, because the producers believed a love triangle with Bart and Principal Skinner crushing on the same character would be “interesting.”

Along with this, Harry Shearer, who voices Skinner (along with a host of other characters on The Simpsons), will give fans a reason to celebrate as he makes his return to the series in spite of announcing his departure from the show earlier this year.

Although Vergara is cast only for one episode as of now, an extension can be expected, considering the fact that Modern Family is filmed in the same area where The Simpsons does their recordings. Also, after the unfortunate death in 2013 of voice artist Marcia Wallace, who did the voice of Mrs. Krabappel since 1990, Bart lacks a regular teacher character on the show.

The 27th season of The Simpsons premieres FOX on September 27, while Modern Family is slated for a September 23 return to ABC.
