Daddy-to-be Simon Cowell has made it pretty clear that he’s stepping up to the plate to take care of his sugar baby, Lauren Silverman, and their unborn child—it’s the least he can do after breaking up her marriage with their illicit affair.

Cowell is reportedly trading his swanky Beverly Hills bachelor pad for a family home with Silverman and their unborn baby. Cowell has listed his four-bedroom, six-bathroom, 7,265-square-foot mansion for a whopping $20.0 million. Meanwhile, he and Silverman have already started looking for a place in Manhattan so that she can still be close to her seven-year-old son from her first marriage. The celebrity couple is planning to be based in New York, but will split their time between there, L.A., and London.

A new house isn’t the only thing Cowell will be spending big money on. He’s also reportedly planning a glamorous, star-studded baby shower for Silverman. Thanks to Cowell, her gift registry for the event is with Petit Tresor, a high-end baby boutique in Beverly Hills. “Simon wants to make sure it will be a day to remember for Lauren,” said one insider. “He feels guilty she’s had to deal with so much stress with his baby because of who he is.”

Although money is no matter for Cowell when it comes to his pregnant sugar baby, there has been no solid word on whether or not a marriage is in the works for the celebrity couple. However, he did mention on Twitter recently that he would be revealing some exciting news in the coming weeks. Although he didn’t say what the news would be about exactly, he did hint in his cryptic tweets that he would be turning a corner in his life. “In life you can obsess on other people’s failures or focus on your own mistakes and work hard to make sure you don’t repeat them.” Could he be referring to his mistake of getting a younger woman pregnant while she was married to one of his best friends?
