Scrapp DeLeon is staging a big turnaround since his release from prison. The rapper is now back on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and was promoted to main cast member. He jumped right into the business of drumming up drama, too. The rapper is the center of attention of some LHHATL ladies and it doesn’t get any more explosive than that. Scrapp DeLeon Was Arrested on Drug Charges
Born Will Cortez Robinson in 1988, this Georgia native goes by Scrapp DeLeon in entertainment circles. He is the son of Karen “KK” King, the indomitable matriarch of LHHATL.
He joined Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in season 5 as a recurring cast member. At that time, he was his brother SAS’s manager attempting to launch him as a solo artist.
But his time on the show would be interrupted when he was arrested and sentenced to prison. The charges stemmed from his 2014 arrest; however, his case didn’t come up until 2016.
In 2016, during the filming of LHHATL season 5, DeLeon surrendered himself to the authorities over marijuana trafficking charges. According to his arrest records, he was incarcerated and sentenced to five years in prison and 15 years of probation. But he was released in 2018 after serving two and a half years and returned to LHHATL.
This isn’t his first run-in with the law. In 2012, Scrapp, SAS, and Karen King were accused of the kidnapping, assault, and attempted murder of DeLeon’s stepfather, Lyndon Baines Smith. They were later cleared of all charges.
DeLeon Witnessed Rapper Dolla’s Fatal Shooting
When he was still a teen, DeLeon formed the rap group Da Razkalz Cru together with SAS and their cousin, Dolla. But their combined aspirations ended abruptly with the tragic death of Dolla in a shooting in 2009. DeLeon was present with Dolla when the shooting occurred that saw their acquaintance, Aubrey Louis Berry, charged with his murder (though Berry was eventually acquitted).
DeLeon and SAS are practicing Muslims and so was Dolla. The slain rapper was laid to rest with Muslim rites.
When DeLeon spoke to outlets about Dolla’s death, his grief was obvious. Though they’re first cousins, they grew up in the same house and were like brothers to each other. He even started a short-lived restaurant venture, Buck’s Barbeque, in Dolla’s memory.

Scrapp said that Dolla “had a lot of things to say and a lot of material he had was not heard.” So he decided to continue his legacy by producing music.
DeLeon has since embarked on a solo career while managing SAS’s career as well. He released a mixtape, No Better Therapy, and a song, “Now That I Came Up,” in 2016. He isn’t signing with a label yet and opts to produce music independently.
DeLeon Has a Son with Tiarra
The newly released LHHATL star is father to a boy, King, with LHHATL troublemaker, Tiarra Becca. He also has a son from another relationship.
He met Tiarra more than a decade ago and they have been in an on-and-off relationship since then. And he has a knack for finding himself in love triangles between his baby mama and other ladies in the LHH franchise.
Back when he joined the VH1 show, he was romancing Tommie Lee and clashing with Tiarra. DeLeon and Lee broke up in 2016 after he allegedly cheated on her several times. They were rumored to have rekindled their relationship in January 2019, but Lee denied that was the case.
In recent LHH history, Scrapp is apparently cozying up to former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Moniece Slaughter, much to everyone’s surprise. They haven’t labeled their relationship yet, but Moniece revealed on the show that they were introduced through DeLeon’s mama, Karen King, and kept in touch while he was in the halfway house.
As for Tiarra, the mother of five was among his costars congratulating him upon his release and praised him for being a great father to their son. She was seemingly pushing to restart their relationship, but Scrapp turned down her advances.
Things got heated, however, when Tiarra discovered that Scrapp and Moniece were an item. She lashed out and slapped DeLeon until security intervened. But DeLeon has only good words for the mother of his son.
