Todd is Savvy’s father, and he is a professor of Political Science at the University of Arkansas. He is from Fayetteville, Arkansas and lives with his family. Most of Todd’s research is based on campaigns and elections, survey research, public opinion and southern politics. Todd has completed his graduation from various colleges and schools. He earned a degree in psychology and political science from Miami University in 1990. He has also studied at the University of Kentucky, where he received his M.A. and Ph.D. in 1991 and 1994.
Karen Shields
Karen is Savvy’s mother and she works for the Fayetteville Athletic club. Karen completed her education from Miami University and is originally from Laguna Hills, California.
Dane Shields
Dane is Savvy’s younger brother. He has completed his graduation from Fayetteville High school and is currently working at Loew’s Home Improvement store. He was really happy and excited about his sister being the winner of Miss America 2017.
Nate Wolf
For those of you questioning about Savvy Shields’ boyfriend, then you should know that Miss America 2017 is already smitten by her boyfriend, Nate Wolf. She posted a picture of her with her boyfriend on her Instagram account with the following caption, “A special thank you needs to go to the greatest boyfriend in pageant history. He’s the real deal.” However, if the couple is planning on getting married, then they will have to wait for over a year to get engaged, now that she is Miss America!
