Fans have been wondering if they’d have to wait until spring 2018 to know what’s happening in Southern Charm’s Shep Rose’s love life. Are Shep and Bella still together? Well, you definitely don’t have to wait until spring to find out the answer to this. Keep reading for RelationShep spoilers!
Embarking on his dream of being married with two kids by the age of 40, Shep Rose, the infamous bachelor from Charleston, set off on a journey to find true love. Since he couldn’t find his dream girl in the bars of his city, he decided to adopt another approach. He traveled across the country to visit his friends while making them set him up on blind dates with friends they think would be a suitable match for him.
In an attempt to find “the one,” he visited popular locations such as Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, and New York City. He came across Bella Clark during his endless search, who made him extremely happy. The two hit it off quite well, and she seemed to be the one for him. However, not much was known about this couple after the show. So, is Shep still dating Bella? We’ve got the details for you right here.
Shep Rose and Bella Clark
On Southern Charm, we saw that Bella Clark had to leave the show early due to work-related commitments. However, this wasn’t the tragedy everyone thought it was because Shep Rose went all the way to New York to speak to her about his feelings. She was ecstatic and overwhelmed to see him.
Everyone couldn’t help but think that Shep found his happy ending. However, recently, we found out that things didn’t turn out the way we thought they would.
In an interview with People, Shep confirmed that he and Bella split, “Sadly, it didn’t work out. It’s too bad. She’s an awesome girl, and when she left the show, I couldn’t get her out of my head. I really adored her. I had a warm and fuzzy feeling about her and I wanted to see where that went. But the only time we spent together was on camera, and once you are with each other in a different setting, you maybe find out you’re not as compatible as you thought. We just couldn’t make it work.”
He went on to reveal that they weren’t on the same page in life, “She was at a place in her life where she had a lot on her plate, and a relationship may not have been top priority. We sort of just drifted apart, by no real fault of anyone. I went home and we were sort of texting a little less. And then I came back to New York one last time to see her, and it was clear there that it was over.”
Well, as sad as this seems, it’s all part of life. And we’re sure to get more details on the topic when Southern Charm returns in the spring.
