In case you forgot about Pokémon Go, let us remind you all about it. The Pokémon Go Halloween event will make you want to play again! Before you check out the Pokémon Go Halloween update, here is what you need to know.

Since Halloween is just round the corner and you already have your plans set, why not take the time to play some Pokémon Go? Though the game’s momentum has faded for some, a lot of people are still hooked, and Niantic is planning to spark some more interest with a Pokémon Go Halloween update. If you want to learn more information about the Pokémon Go Halloween event update, then you need to keep on reading.

As per Niantic, the Pokémon Go update event will start on Wednesday, October 26th. The event is supposed to last until Tuesday, November 1st. Here are the things you should know about the game:

  1. First of all, some of the elements of the game will change to create a spookier Halloween feel. You will be able to earn double the amount of candies when capturing and transferring Pokémon, as well as hatching eggs. To break it down for you, players will earn six candies for catching a Pokémon and two candies for transferring it. Additionally, hatching a two kilometer egg will earn the player 20 candies, hatching a five kilometer egg will earn you 40 candies, and hatching a 10 kilometer egg will earn 60 candies.
  2. Walking with your Pokémon during this Halloween event will be able to rack up on even more candy. So if you walk your Pokémon, you will earn four times more candy than usual.

Besides going trick-or-treating with your friends and family this year, you might also want to be out on the hunt for new Pokémon, and finding ways to earning more candies. However, if you are playing outside make sure you are careful!
