Where’s Pamela Anderson today? Look no further than Dwayne Johnson’s Instagram, where the actor recently revealed that CJ Parker is returning to Baywatch the movie. Johnson, 43, has been dropping behind-the-scenes news on social media ever since he started working on the movie alongside Zac Efron. But this latest reveal is most likely what Baywatch fans have been waiting for. Johnson took to Instagram and wrote:
“She introduced the world to ‘CJ Parker’ and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time,” he began his caption. “A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn’t have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us! #BAYWATCH MAY 19, 2017. #PamAnderson #OS #OriginalSmokestack [sic].”

In March, Anderson, 48, originally told Harper’s Bazaar that she didn’t want a remake to happen and doesn’t like when shows get remade preferring to remembering them as they were instead.
“I don’t like remakes of TV shows, and I kind of want to leave it as is and be remembered for that,” she explained to the fashion magazine. “I don’t know if I want to go on Baywatch and be, like, the old lady working at a counter somewhere.”
Clearly being the old lady working at the counter won’t be an issue for Anderson—she looks great! (She also made a cameo in the real-life movie remake of Scooby-Doo, so she has a habit of changing her mind.)
The Canadian-born actress also didn’t know if the show would ever make it to the big screen. She told E! News, “I’ll believe it when I see it, but I wish them the best.”
There was also a negotiation involving compensation and Anderson appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to comment about her possible cameo.
“They made me an offer to come on to it, but it was for, like, for half of what they would pay me for, like, an episodic thing, and I said, ‘I would love to be a part of it because I think it’s so great that it’s finally happening’,” she said on the talk show. “And it’s a compliment that they want me so bad on it … I would love to do it. They have some cute ideas … They can offer me something respectable.”
According to E! News and Us Weekly magazine, details of Anderson’s role in the Baywatch remake is unknown. Her former role in the original series is being played by Kelly Rohrbach and David Hasselhoff’s role is being played by Johnson.
The movie also stars Zac Efron and Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra, who have been shooting scenes in Miami, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia.
