Some might argue that boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. doesn’t deserve to be called an undefeated champion, because he strategically signs on for fights that he can easily win. Meanwhile, others believe that Mayweather could be among the greatest boxing legends of all time, right up there with the likes of Rocky Marciano, who, like Mayweather so far, never lost a single fight—after all, Mayweather’s 49 wins from 49 fights is no average feat.
Fans who believe in Mayweather’s skill and unmatched precision as a boxer now have a unique opportunity to train like the champion himself, at Mayweather’s gym in Las Vegas. The athlete recently shared a post on his Facebook page urging fans to try out the exclusive training club.
The Mayweather Boxing Club is not necessarily open to the general public (you have to contact them to join), but if one is looking to really excel in boxing, then this is definitely the place to train. The gym provides the right atmosphere and you will get to train among the boxing greats, including Roger Mayweather (Floyd Mayweather’s uncle) and Cornelius Edwards.
While training alongside Mayweather might be a little too far-fetched for some, the idea is clearly intriguing for others—Mayweather’s Facebook post about the gym has been liked 6,200 times and shared almost 200 times with over 160 comments.
