For the first time, the NBA is breaking from the tradition that had them announce awards like MVP of the season during the playoffs. Instead, the NBA is holding its very first NBA Awards, to give away major honors and titles to the star players of this NBA season. What Time are the NBA Awards 2017?

The inaugural NBA Awards will be held tonight (June 26) at Basketball City at Pier 36 in Manhattan, New York. It begins at 9 p.m. EST and will be aired live by TNT. You can live stream the awards night online through the NBA Awards page on the league’s website, right here.

Drake is hosting the show, which will feature a performance by Nicki Minaj. She skipped the BET Awards 2017 last night for the NBA Awards 2017. So, we’re looking forward to seeing her hit the stage tonight!

Basketball’s Biggest Night

The NBA Awards has awards for different categories, including MVP, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player, Coach of the Year, and more. Each category has three nominees, one of which will the take home the award. There are also fan-voted categories like Best Dunk, Best Pass, and Best Playoff Moment. That’s the highlight of the night!
