The rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer has a net worth of $6.0 million from three albums with Def Jam Recordings. He had a few mixtapes before signing his first professional music contract. Forbes appears to be tired of Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z topping the Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, so they’re now focusing on the Hip-Hop Cash Princes, who all have the potential to be Kings in the future. Logic caught the music bug through the Quentin Tarantino movie, Kill Bill. The film’s score was done by Wu-Tang Clan member, RZA and that’s when he began listening to music by the group. His mentor, Solomon Taylor, bought him instrumental music CDs for him to write lyrics over. He released mixtapes and was soon performing as an opening act for Pitbull and Ludacris, among others.

He released his debut album, Under Pressure, which sold over 70,000 copies in its first week after debuting at #2 on the Billboard Top Hip-Hop/R&B Chart. Logic is a genius at marketing. He a rented a tour-bus and traveled the country playing his album to fans one by one. “We always try to do something outside the box,” said Chris Zarou, Logic’s manager and the founder of Visionary Music Group. “It’s how we’ve built Logic’s career early on, and now we’re able to do it on this level.”
The nerdcore emcee is all about his fans. Forbes detailed that Logic’s loyal fans are willing to splurge, both on VIP packages and a regular tickets. They’re also willing to spend $75 for a photo, group Q&As, and freebies, or even $50 for a light version of the experiences. Those with VIP access can get their hands on Logic’s merchandise, a commodity so popular concert-goers regularly buy far more than the $5-a-head industry average.
Who is Logic?
Born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II (he’s not knighted), Logic comes from a problematic neighborhood in Maryland. His father was African-American and his mother was Caucasian. Both were drug addicts and Logic’s brothers also sold drugs. He called himself a pothead growing up. “I don’t drink; I don’t smoke weed. I used to smoke; I used to be a pretty big pothead when I was younger, but I don’t smoke. I might have an occasional glass of champagne,” he explained. He had a serious cigarette addiction (which he sang about in one of his songs) and vowed to never touch a cigarette again when he released his debut album.
He dropped out of school to pursue a music career. Despite being a hip-hop artist, he is a huge fan of Frank Sinatra. His mother used to show him old black-and-white movies, which made young Hall fall in love with the singer. He dubbed himself ‘Young Sinatra’ as the iconic musician heavily influenced his music style.
Logic’s age is 27 now, and he has embraced his biracial heritage, deciding not to venture into the controversial side of hip-hop. “I’m proud to be black and white and look the way I look, I’m proud to not speak down on women or glorify things that are unimportant,” he said.

Turning Things Around
Logic has put his personal struggles behind him for his music. He now owns a mansion in L.A., which features a basketball court, pool, hot tub, rec room, downstairs recording studio, and overlooks a golf course. He had a half-pipe built outside of his two-storey abode, so he can skateboard anytime he likes. Logic’s had such a great year, he confesses he paid millions in taxes! He even gave a tour of his house on YouTube.
There was also a time he ended a long romantic relationship to dedicate himself to his career. “The thing is, I feel like so many artists, well, not really artists but so many people think they can rap and they just want a deal and the glitz and the glamour and the women but they don’t understand that all I do and want to do is rhyme… I think I’ve sacrificed so much from my relationships to my friendships to my family; I’ve literally sacrificed my entire life, and I’m honest,” he said.
But all his sacrifices turned out to be for the best. He’s now married to Jessica Andreas, a YouTube and Instagram star who is also a singer. Logic hopes they can have three kids one day. They were dating for two years before tying the knot in 2015, and she just celebrated her 25th birthday! On May 1, Logic gave her a sweet birthday surprise by having a full-blown live orchestra play for her! Andrea woke up to the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme song played by an ensemble of strings, horns, flutes and percussion. He shared the sweet birthday present with his 2.1 million Instagram followers.
