Hollywood action hero Liam Neeson just embraced 63 and apparently it’s starting to show. The Taken actor was seen in SoHo, New York this past Saturday looking extremely tired and frail. He assured fans that he was fine, but when spotted again on Tuesday, he looked as unrecognizable as the previous time. The usually put-together star sported a casual look with a baseball cap and eye glasses.

Despite the alarming pictures, a spokesperson informed Daily Mail that Liam Neeson “has never been healthier.” Perhaps it’s the workload that’s starting to take a toll—his spokesperson revealed that he just wrapped up one film and is starting work on another this September.

Ahead of his 63rd birthday in June, Neeson spoke to Daily Mail on the touchy subject of his age. “I’m going to be 63—nobody wants to be 63! I’m going to be old,” he exclaimed.

Neeson added that he wants nothing more than for his birthdays to be ignored, as he hates them for making him feel vulnerable. He says that while most people “hire a boat and do grand things like that,” he gets extremely embarrassed with that kind of attention and celebration. The superstar also confessed to The Guardian that he might give up his signature action films in the next couple of years.

The actor has two new movies slated for release next year: a historical drama called Silence and a fantasy drama called A Monster Calls.
