Racing star Lewis Hamilton has been busy these past few days, but finally got the time to send his fans a sizable New Year’s message via social media. Initially, he posted a simple tweet that read, “Message here guys,” with a link to his Facebook account.
There, he shared an image of himself on a boat during sunset with the caption, “2016 is going to be amazing for you all, I’m wishing nothing but greatness, Happiness and success but most importantly love and light in your lives [sic].” He went on to encourage all his fans, telling them to “go get” what they want, adding, “Don’t shy away from the challenges that lie ahead. Instead, face them with belief knowing that you will conquer them no matter what.”
He ended by saying, “God Bless you all, it’s time to go!! [sic]” Many fans left equally kind comments on his photo, wishing him the best in life as well. One wrote, “Thanks and triple wishes back to you Lewis, stay the humble person you are and keep believing in yourself, you are an amazing persons and an excellent role model [sic],” while another wished him a safe year in racing.
Meanwhile, Hamilton shared another photo of his Mercedes SL65 Black Series that he had won back in 2010 “from the Abu Dhabi GP.” He wrote, “Love this car! V12, how cars should be!!! [sic]” A fan left a comment on this taunting the racer, asking him whether he replies or likes any messages on Facebook. To this, Hamilton actually replied, saying, “I do all the time.” Although that might not be entirely true, Hamilton does reply to messages every once in a while.
To another fan who asked him how many cars he owned, the soon to be 31-year-old simply replied with a cheeky smiling emoticon. But the most important question, which he hasn’t yet addressed, is that whether or not the fashion icon will be ringing in his birthday on January 7 with his former flame, Nicole Scherzinger, as there have been frequent rumors of the two getting back together.
