Lesly Brown Is from Maryland
Lesly Brown was reportedly born on April 21, 1965 to Dr. D. Michael Brown and Maria Brown. She hails from Maryland, where her parents raised her and her two sisters, Dr. Wendy Brown and Kelly Brown.
Her father owned a private dental practice in Maryland for almost 35 years and was on the faculty of the University of Maryland Dental School. He passed away on October 4, 2008 and his daughter Wendy now has her own dental practice in Columbia.
While her other sister Kelly resides in Annapolis, Lesly and Pat Sajak have a riverfront residence in Severna Park worth $1.28 million when they purchased it in 1991. They also have a home in Los Angeles, California.

Brown Graduated from the University of Maryland
The University of Maryland seemed to be a natural choice for Lesly, since it’s her father’s alma mater as well as where he taught dentistry. When she graduated in 1986 with a degree in television production, Lesly was already making quite a name for herself as a model.
She was crowned Miss Georgetown while she was a student at the University of Maryland. She also featured in Playboy magazine’s “Women of Washington” spread in the November 1988 issue.
She was well on her way to a modeling career. Though, back then, Lesly intended to switch from modeling to studying law.
She, however, put off both careers when she married Pat Sajak.

Brown and Sajak Married in 1989
Pat Sajak was previously married to one Sherrill Sajak from 1979 to 1986. After his first marriage ended, he met Lesly Brown, then a model, who is 19 years his junior.
They were introduced by a mutual friend at the opening of a sports bar in Irvine, California in 1988. They didn’t feel that spark right away. But after going out a few times and maintaining a long-distance connection while Brown was in her hometown, they finally gave a label to their relationship when Brown appeared on The Dating Game.
Sajak apparently got jealous when she went on that Mexican vacation with the bachelor who picked her. When she returned, Pat was ready to take things to another level with a three-carat-plus marquise-shaped diamond ring.
The Wheel of Fortune host later announced his engagement in September of that year on The Pat Sajak Show. Brown and Sajak tied the knot on New Year’s Eve of December 31, 1989 in Annapolis. Wheel of Fortune letter-turner Vanna White was among the 100 or so guests.
The couple are parents to Patrick Michael James Sajak (born September 22, 1990) and country singer Maggie Marie Sajak (born January 5, 1995).
