Laura Savoie and Dennis Quaid’s Relationship
Soon after Dennis Quaid split from his wife of 12 years, Kimberly Buffington, he was dating the model Santa Auzina. Quaid had been dating the model for two years when his divorce from Kimberley was finalized in 2018.
However, Quaid and Auzina quietly broke up, with their last public sighting together in December 2018. And then in June 2019, Quaid was seen cozying up to doctorate student Laura Savoie, who is 40 years his junior and a year younger than his eldest son, Jack Quaid. Quaid and Savoie reportedly met at a business conference in May 2019.
Savoie also made their relationship Instagram official, posting multiple pictures with the Day After Tomorrow star. Her Instagram, however, is private.
Savoie was previously romantically linked to Entourage star Jeremy Piven while she was a student at Pepperdine. But information on their alleged relationship is scarce.
Almost five months after their relationship was originally confirmed, Us Weekly confirmed that Quaid and his new girlfriend were engaged.
They planned to wed in Hawaii in April but that was of course cancelled due to the global pandemic. So the couple eloped to Santa Barbara and married on June 2 at a seaside resort with only their pastor in attendance.
Quaid told Vanity Fair about his new wife, “I just love who she is as a person. Her character, her intelligence, of course, her beauty. And her point of view of the world.”
This would be Quaid’s fourth time tying the knot. Before Buffington, he was married to PJ Soles and Meg Ryan.
