In the latest statement released by Lady Gaga, she claims that her relationship with the handsome Zero Dark Thirty actor may not be over just yet. There’s still a chance, that they might get back together, because they haven’t ended things for good.
The 30-year-old pop star, posted a black and white photo of the couple wearing coordinated outfits, with their arms wrapped around each other’s shoulders. She wrote a sweet caption, describing her relationship of five years. “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”

The Grammy-winning artist and American Horror Story actress met the 35-year-old actor in 2011, on the sets of her music video, “You and I,” and the two have been together ever since. Last Valentine’s Day, the Vampire Diaries actor popped the question to Lady Gaga with an enormous diamond in the shape of a heart. “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!” she ecstatically posted in a message to her fans on Instagram.
The two have graciously kept quiet as to the reason behind the breakup, but it is rumored that long distance wreaked havoc on their relationship. Allegedly, she is busy working on her new album, while he is shooting for a show, and the two struggled to keep their love afloat. Fans began speculating about a possible split, after the well-publicized couple became noticeably absent on social media, and at public events.
