Kristen Bell has made it very clear on social media how much fun she has in her home life with her actor husband Dax Shepard (as well as her many pets). But her hubby may not be so happy when he sees what his wife has in store for him as part of their holiday festivities.
The actress used Twitter to showcase her latest editions to the family ensemble heading towards Christmas. “You think we stop at matching Xmas sweaters?” she wrote. “One word. Jammies.” And she wasn’t kidding! The image features at least 12 pairs of matching outfits, many of which feature the sort of designs seen on the dreaded “ugly Christmas sweaters” that many people dread receiving! The designs include all the holiday staples, including trees, reindeer, and snowflakes. There’s also what we think is supposed to be a gingerbread man, but looks closer to Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo from South Park—at least he would still be Christmas-themed!

Over 1,800 people have liked the post so far; whether they would also agree to wear the jammies is still up in the air. It’s more likely they were supporting how cute the celebrity couple was to be wearing matching outfits at all; one fan even went so far as to say, “You two are my only hope that love exists. Never break up.” Other, less extreme comments included, “That is both exceedingly cute and mildly scary,” and, “Aaaah, Christmas, a celebration of materialism! [sic]” It’s unlikely anyone is bothered by the use of money, though; not when it’s being used by a celebrity couple as cute as Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.
Bell also posted one more holiday-related photo worth noting: the couple’s Christmas tree and it certainly looks well-decorated! The star posted the photo as a P.S. accompanying a video to a holiday message from Tylenol. The fact that the message was the important part of the tweet and the tree was the bonus shows that Kristen Bell really is in the holiday spirit!
