Kris Jenner’s Honest Confession About Caitlyn Jenner Transition

We recently posted about socialite Kris Jenner sharing the cover photo for her recent photo shoot and interview in Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Well now, we have some info about the content of the interview itself; specifically, the reaction the Kardashian matriarch had to her ex Caitlyn’s transition into becoming Caitlyn Jenner!

As everyone knows, Caitlyn Jenner transitioned in April 2015, having been long torn up over her gender issues before undergoing the necessary cosmetic surgery (rather than sex reassignment surgery, which she has yet to show an interest in). The transition received widespread media attention, including the famous groundbreaking appearance on the cover of Vanity Fair and an entire TV documentary/reality show, I Am Cait, dedicated to Jenner’s transition. The show is scheduled to return for a second season at some point in 2016.

The last episode of season 1 of I Am Cait saw Caitlyn and Kris Jenner discuss how to address and come to terms with the changes and move on for the sake of their family. And now, the matriarch of one of TV’s most famous families has opened up about how she has personally handled the change.

For starters, she has admitted that Caitlyn Jenner’s transition has been difficult to accept and that some confusion still remains all these months later. However, she acknowledges that it’s something she simply has to come to terms with and move on from. “I think at some point, although it was difficult and, uh, a challenge… I just have to let it go. And try to be tolerant. [With] prayer. God. You know, just trying to understand [sic],” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar. “It takes time. But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children together. It’s important for my kids to see our family strong and united.” That’s certainly the right response to have and maybe we’ll see that factor of time when I Am Cait returns for its second season.
